Is Forex really risky?

Forex is risky as long as we have risk ratio lowering. Yes, you told right. The higher the leverage is, the higher the risk is. But, we have the option here to lower our risk ratio so Forex is not risky indeed. However, knowledge is more important than leverage because there are millions of traders to whom Forex seems risky just because they don’t have any money management plan and they know not how to lower the risk ratio.

Forex trading is a place where we actually come to make money more but become loser ultimately , because of just emotions.

if you have the most powerful analyzing knowledge about money management then you are able to make a profit by using any kind of the leverage ratio.

Risk and return are inextricably linked; you can't avoid it entirely, but you can limit it to some level. When you toss a coin, you have a 50 percent chance of winning and a 50 percent chance of losing. Risk is unavoidable in the forex market, whether it is an external or internal aspect related to the trader. To have control over the trading process, you can research the trends, follow a strategy, practice daily as a trader. This will pay off in the long run.

Before large investments we generally open a demo account in a broker to see the performance how it works. But I have seen, after large investments brokers attitude changes sometimes that is not available in micro accounts.

demo experience sometimes doesn't work in really account, its really true. but that not mean , it is useless. beginners level of course minimum have to spend 3-5 months in here to ensure live trading experience.

I definitely agree with the knowledge part, it's so important to learn and learn more. you can't come into the market with partial knowledge.

generally the beginners trade over and over above all when making a losses , they try to overcome the losses by overtrading but at the end of the day they become loser.

actually right now its very difficult to make sure 20% return according to trading balance due to US election. but whatever it is we the traders always try to bring profit minimum 5-10%.

risk is an essential part of trading that no way to deny even after having most powerful analyzing trade knowledge.

I totally agree! It is very important that a trader practises his trading strategy in different environments and finds an edge. Traders should also use strong risk management for reducing the risks involved.

We will have to learn such kind of trading systems that will help us in reducing the amount of risk.

For many, it is risky because they are putting their money into something and have no idea whether they will get it back or not. Though you cannot move ahead without taking risks, it’s best to try to find ways that can help you reduce risks like avoiding high leverage, risking small amounts, and building proper trading strategies.

there is no trading business in this world which is complete risk free. of course you have to take risk with no doubt.

Of course, every investment is risky but the risks of loss in trading off-exchange forex contracts are even bigger.
You are dealing with large sums of money while trading forex, and it is always possible for a trade to go against you.

The Forex trader should be familiar with the tools for profitable and careful trading as well as loss minimization.

It is possible to reduce the risk, but no one can guarantee that it will be eliminated. Off-exchange foreign currency trading is a high-risk activity that is not suitable for all market participants.

Only funds that represent risk capital can be utilized to speculate in foreign currency trading.

actually making profit is not a big deal in Forex trading , the main things in there to keep consistent level which is the main challenge . anyone can make profit by one or two times.

You will find hardly a business that is out of risk because risk is the inherent quality of a business. Suppose, you opened a glossary shop but you don’t have sufficient sell and so it’s a risk to you that your profit isn’t as expected. In the same way, Forex’s risk depends on how much leverage you are using and spread limit.

Forex is risky if you extend your trading lot size. Those who are professional traders never believe in taking risk rather they are pleased with their average earning. But, those who are verdant at trading believe in highering their trading risks as they need much more profit.

If proper risk management strategy is maintained, then Forex is not risky. So I always recommend traders to lower trading lot size and trade with those pairs having low trading spread. Some traders cannot stick to their strategies owing to their greed. They should keep in mind that greed destroys a person from the root.

No doubt on it, in Forex more than 98% traders are unable to make money! That’s why, no way to make easy money here. If you want to earn consistent money here, then you should rely on your own trading skill; don’t try to follow others trading system or strategy!
