The most significant event last week was the statements by the US president. D. Trump called the US currency too "strong" and preferred a policy of lower interest rates. The attention is focused this week on the first round of the presidential elections in France. The tension around North Korea supports the demand for safe assets.

We recommend you to pay attention to the following events.

On Tuesday, the news background will be relatively calm. The Reserve Bank of Australia will publish Minutes of the Monetary Policy Meetings (03:30 GMT+3:00). It is also necessary to pay attention to economic reports on the real estate market in the USA (15:30 GMT+3:00).

According to preliminary data, in the first round of the presidential elections in France, Emmanuel Macron (24% of the vote) and Marine Le Pen (22% of the vote) are leading. Both candidates go forward to a second round of voting, which will be held on May 7. As always, a number of important macroeconomic statistics will be published in the upcoming trading week.

The attention is focused on the results of the first round of the presidential elections in France. At the moment, Emmanuel Macron is leading. There is a significant increase in demand for the euro. The EUR/USD currency pair opened with a gap up (more than 150 points).

I wonder if the conditions are normal... as the broker is ok, soon it will be two years since I've started working with them, but I can't fully trust bonuses and rather trade live on a ECN account So, I advise you to do the same or to read the terms of that bonus VERY attentively.
