What separates Professionals From Beginners?

Hello everyone! I think every trader passes through the beginning in order to become a professional one. Beggining is really important as it teaches you a lot. It teaches you how to stay calm in every situation. It teaches you how to look at the market professionally. So, never get afraid of losses!

True, since they have (pro traders) such a long time trading experience, so they are very much familiar on the market movements! In addition, they always wait for good opportunities.

There are many differences between a beginner trader and a professional trader. For example, beginner traders do not trade patiently, do not maintain money management and risk management, and do not maintain plans and discipline. And professional traders are the complete opposite.

For consistent profit, a trader needs a good strategy of his own and a mind set. A mind that can adjust with the changing market. A mind that can stay away from trading, if market is not giving good set up.

I agree with other traders that it is experience that separates professionals from beginners. Professional traders have a good hold on their emotions, which helps them avoid greed and fear.

Experience is obviously what separates a professional from a beginner, no matter how cliche it sounds. Only the knowledge in the subject can get you the best out of you as a trader.

I believe there is a basic difference between professionals and beginners. Beginners have just started their journey, so they are still in the learning process, whereas professionals have experience and have seen all sorts of market movements that may impact their trading strategies.

It’s probably the way they see the market. Professionals know how harsh the market can sometimes be and so, they keep their risks small until they are sure. On the other hand, beginners see forex trading as an easy way of making money and take unnecessary risks even when they have no idea about what they are doing.

A professional trader has an edge over a beginner mainly because of his trading experience. Beginners depend on their experiences on a demo account and basic theoretical knowledge, which often does not work during a live trade. Also, professional traders hold their nerves both when they are winning and losing. They always control their greed and take an exit when their target profit is reached.

The ultimate thing that separates a professional from a beginner is experience. A beginner approaches trading theoretically. He may have enough practice on his demo account, but live trading demands a different set of nerves as your real money gets involved. That is where experience pays. Professional traders keep calm both on winning and losing. They know when to enter the market and when to take an exit. They never deviate from their trading plan chasing higher profits.

Professionals would be more disciplined while beginners would be making mistakes and learning. Other than this, professionals focus more on execution while beginners keep on adjusting their limits to improve their efficiency.

Professional traders and the newbies have only one difference that is the “experience.” It is the experience that makes a person a professional trader. Along with experience they have more patience and persistence than a new trader.
