Changes in trading hours during the Christmas and New Year holidays

Dear traders,

Please pay attention to changes in trading hours during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

December 23 – trading will be carried out as usual.

December 26 – Forex trading will be resumed at 06:00 GMT+2, while other trading instruments will not be available for trading this day.

December 27-30 – trading will be carried out as usual.

January 2 - Forex trading will be resumed at midnight (GMT+2), while other trading instruments will not be available for trading this day.

January 3 - trading will be carried out as usual.

USD/RUB and EUR/RUB will not be available for trading on January 2-6. Trading on these currency pairs will be resumed on January 9.

We also inform you that the company reserves the right to limit opening of new deals on ForexCrosses 4 and 5 from December 26, 2016 through January 3, 2017. However, closing active deals will be available as usual during this period.

Rewarding year end!

Approaching the year end, InstaForex hosted a traditional finance exposition under the ShowFx World brand. The expo in Kyiv is fairly considered a landmark event of the year. This time, a large number of visitors proved keen interest in Forex. The two-day expo in Regency Hyatt Kiev was visited by almost a thousand people. There are a few reasons behind this huge success. The first one is well-known speakers. InstaForex was represented by analysts Aleksandr Davydov and Mikhail Makarov as well as Regional Development Manager Sergey Aleksandrov.

As usual, Aleksandr Davydov expanded on global burning issues. He spoke about how a new economic policy in the US could influence the global economy. Besides, the analyst made his own forecast for currencies of emerging economies for 2017.

On the contrary, Mikhail Makarov focused on a practical issue. In his presentation, he shared two major secrets of steady success on Forex with the guests. The analyst put a high priority on the ability to develop one's own trading system which should be supplemented with wise risk management. The expert revealed both secrets, going into detail and answering questions from the audience.

Sergey Aleksandrov addressed his speech to trading practitioners who are eager to find an extra source of income that would not hamper their forex routine. Legendary Dakar Rally 2017 comes to end

InstaForex Loprais Teamhttps://www.instaforex.com/instaforex_loprais_team headed by Ales Loprais finished seventh in the truck category in the Dakar Rally 2017. The world's most awaited race kicked off on January 2 in Asuncion and lasted for 12 days. Loprais Team passed 12 complicated stages going through special challenging routes in Paraguay, Bolivia, and Argentina. Loyal fans greeted the rally participants at the final destination in Buenos Aires.

The team competed in yet another Dakar Rally with a brand-new Tatra Phoenix truck that was built specifically for this race. Ales Loprais and Martin Kolomy joined their efforts creating InstaForex Tatra Buggyra Racing Formation.

On the route to Buenos Aires, the team experienced some technical difficulties as they had problems with the power steering pump and shock absorber. Technical faults alongside bad weather conditions affected the team's spirit and its results. Still, Loprais Team passed last stages and made it to the final despite all the troubles. InstaForex Loprais Team jumped to the seventh place from the fourteenth showing good results in the overall ranking.

InstaForex star Ole Einar Bjørndalen wins bronze at biathlon world championship

On February 12, Norwegian biathlete and InstaForex brand ambassador Ole Einar Bjørndalen took the bronze in the pursuit race at the world championship 2017 in Hochfilzen.

This day is especially memorable for the renowned biathlete because his wife Darya Domracheva, a successful biathlete from Belarus, came in the second best in the same discipline. Interestingly, they have been the first couple since 2004 who won medals at a world championship on the same day.

Competing in winter tournaments since 1997, Ole Einar Bjørndalen has always won a crop of trophies in every event. Throughout his career, his tally of awards contains 45 medals at the biathlon world championships and 13 medals at the Winter Olympic Games. He scored his first major victory 20 years ago. He also won the bronze medal in the pursuit race.

Chancy Deposit increased by 10 times to $10,000!

Dear Traders,

We are glad to inform you that in March the prize money of Chancy Deposit is 10 times more! This is thanks to the Norwegian biathlete and InstaForex ambassador Ole Einar Bjørndalen who won a medal in the pursuit race at the World Championship in Hochfilzen 12 February. It is his first victory in this season and in honor of this event we have increased the Chancy Deposit prize by 10 times, from $1,000 to $10,000. The campaign will last until March 31, 2017.

This day became for the biathlete doubly significant as his wife, Darya Domracheva from Belarus, won the silver medal in the same discipline. Thus, since 2004 Bjørndalen and Domracheva became the first married couple to win medals at the World Championship at the same day. Ole Einar is 43 years old and he became the oldest medalist at the World Championship in the history of biathlon.
