How long one should use demo?

For however long you feel you need to. Some beginners need to do it for long periods of time, sometimes for more than two or three years at a time, some may only need to do it for a few months. It entirely depends on your confidence and how much time you invest in it.

With the help of demo account we can learn trading easily

Demo trading is an important step when you are learning to trade forex. This must be done carefully so that you gain hands-on experience on the trading platform that you will use in the live market. It is up to you to decide for how long you wish to practice on a demo account.

It’s hard to tell for how long you will need your demo account. There are some traders, who don’t make live trades until they check their strategies on the demo account. At the same time, there are traders who don’t look back to their demo accounts after they start trading in the live market.

Not less than one year! Mistakes happen every day but it’s wrong that traders should not stick to mistaking because it bears no fruit for them ultimately. Every mistake can be a lesson and traders should learn from mistakes so that no repetition of that mistake happens.

You can always use demo to become sure about your strategy.
Probably one of the best replies, it is not just for newbies but old traders can always come back to try out their hand on something new using demo. And it's so easy now as brokers allow unlimited demo trade, just go back there and practice. Personally I don't hold back in taking advantage of the unlimited one from Forexchief for practice on new strategies, because I don't joke with my money. I do all I can to maximize my profit.

It depends on your capabilities, knowledge, and skills. Do not consider trading live unless you start making consistent winning trades for atleast for a month.

Don’t depend on what others tell you about using a demo account. We don’t sit with you while you practice so there is no way we can know at what level you are and how much you have learnt so far. You have to judge your own performance and check when you feel you are ready to trade in the live market.

At least 6 months is recommended to new traders, but they should take their own time. No rush! You need to first acquire skills. So why worry about how much you should practise?

For enhancing knowledge, there is no alternative to demo trading. But traders should stick to demo trading during their lifetime in Forex trading because there is no border of learning. The more a trader trade in demo account, the more he or she can learn.

Actually, it depends on how long before you were able to make a consistent profit in your demo account. But do take into consideration that you will be missing out on the psychological factor with demo trading. And that is the fear of losing the money. You will not feel such a thing when you are trading in a demo account because you already knew for the fact that the funds are not real. Once you can make a consistent profit, it is that time where you make a shift from a demo account to a live one and be able to start trading right away. The chance of getting your account wiped off will be lower, but there is no guarantee for that.

I’d suggest not switch to a live account until you have made consistent profits for a month and are confident enough to make trades on a live platform.

In reality, there is no such time. To get a feel for the trading process, use a demo account. Demo accounts can also be used to put your strategy to the test. Until you find a method that works, stick to the demo.

Define your entry, exit, risk, reward, and risk management policies on the demo before implementing them in the live account. Once you get confident, start live trading.

You can use the demo for however long you feel like you need the practice. If you still feel under confident, then take a while to understand and study the market and its measures. The best traders are highly skilled and rely on their wit and decisions to go towards making enormous amounts of profit. Get familiar, backtest to glory and then when the time is right, enter the market and get your dream!

We will have to use the demo trading accounts in a way so that we can learn foreign exchange better.

By definition, spread lies between ask and bid price and narrow trading spread is always expected for earning more profit. Traders who are willing to trade risk freely should trade in those pair consisting of low trading spread. It helps traders take away high profit from trading.

Every trader is affected with some bad qualities that work as a bar. Especially greed and emotion are the worst human qualities that inspire a trader take high risk in trading and go bust. So, first repair your qualities and then select a regulated trading broker.

demo is important no way to deny but honestly speaking the result of demo actually not works when trading in a real account.l
