Competitive profit

The most frequently asked question of beginner traders is "How much money can I make?" Surely, the more you invest, the more you are able to win. Let's assume you want to invest only $100 per trade and you adjusted your profit goal to $100, too. Now you can make at least 10 trades, because only if all 10 trades are losers you'll lose the $1,000 you are willing to risk. I don't want to become too mathematical, but statistics says that the probability of having 10 losing trades in a row is less than 1%. Therefore it's highly likely that you will have a couple of winners within the 10 trades. If your trading system shows at least 60% winning percentage performance, you should make $200: 4 losing trades * $100 = -$400 + 6 winning trades * $100 = $600. Seems to be not bad? For comparison, average monthly salary in many European countries starts with a sum equal to 225$.

In early January, FBS Seoul Office joined Korean mission in the Gambia. Located in the Western Africa, the Gambia is one of the poorest countries in the world: its per capita GDP amounted to 484 USD in 2016. It means that an average person in the Gambia lives on $1.33 a day. Moreover, wellbeing of an average person in the Gambia has declined comparing to 2008 when it was $1.66 per day.

Gambians suffer from poor access to clean water, safe food, necessary clothes, let alone education, medicine, and infrastructure. It took the mission almost a week to get to the distant local communities tucked away from the major roads.

FBS Seoul office went to the Gambia with a two-day special program aimed at helping local communities. They lived in the same poor houses, giving away food and clothes to those in need. Also, they brought necessary education materials so that little Gambians have a chance to study and improve.

TRADING SCHEDULE CHANGES DUE TO DST


Please note that certain changes will be applied to the trading schedule for a number of assets due to Daylight Saving Time.

Starting from March 13, 2018 trading instruments [WTI, BRN, Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Palladium] will be available for trading 1 hour earlier due to Daylight Saving Time (DST) coming into effect in the USA.

Also, please note that from March 16, 2018 the market will be closed 1 hour earlier.

On March 26, 2018 Daylight Saving Time will come into effect in Europe and the trading schedule for [WTI, BRN, Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Palladium] will be back on track with MetaTrader time.

On the night of 25/26 March 2018, MT4 and MT5 clock will also be turned 1 hour ahead. Please keep this fact in mind when planning your trading sessions.
